The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) has been bottled

Our flagship Cabernet has been bottled. After aging approximately 21 months in new French oak, our 2006 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is in its final resting vessel. This wine will be released early next year. We have sourced grapes from some of Napa Valley's most prestigious vineyards (and it shows with every sip). This wine will have some serious aging potential. Tasting notes will be available at time of release.

The 2006 Secret Veil (Napa Valley) has been bottled

We are happy to offer a new wine this year (2006 Secret Veil). After aging approximately 18 months in new French oak, this fruit forward wine has been bottled. We will be aging this wine in bottle for another 6-8 months and plan to release early next year. Allocations will be limited so watch for our mailer for the release date

It's release day of the 2007 Sauvignon Blanc. Just in time for summer, this is a crisp wine that is ready to drink now.

The 2007 Sauvignon Blanc (Napa Valley) has been bottled.

After our blending session, the 2007 Sauvignon Blanc was bottled in April. With explosive aromas of melon and grapefruit, this wine has a noticeable vibrancy and freshness. Crisp in the entry, the wine picks up volume and complexity in the midpalate, expressing ripe flavors of fruit with a sturdy backbone of acidity that carries through the long finish. We will be releasing this wine around the end of June 08

A.Faustini Wines is pleased to announce a new cabernet vineyard source for 2007 – Suscol Bench

Our growth continues. This year we have added a new source of Cabernet Sauvignon from an upcoming area of Napa Valley (Suscol Bench).
Suscol Bench offers a unique terroir for Bordeaux varietals in the Napa Valley. Unlike warmer vineyards up-valley, the climate of Suscol Bench naturally provides a longer hang-time resulting in profound color and flavor intensity. This extraordinary terroir delivers the exceptional ripeness necessary for both the power and complexity required of great Cabernet-based wines.This down-valley site is much cooler than most of Napa and has a dramatic rock-strewn southwest slope that provides the vines the sunlight they need to fully ripen. We are please to add this vineyard source to our portfolio.

The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) has been bottled

After aging for 21 months in new French Oak barrels, the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon was bottled in July. The Cabernet has a deep, dark color. The nose is packed with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberries and has a hint of vanilla. The wine will not only drink well early, but will evolve over time with proper aging. Projected ship date for this wine is November 1, 2007.
